I don't think anybody hates Cooney and wants to see him fail. I think what we wanted for Cooney all season is what we got last night. A Senior guard who plays smart and hard...not just jacking up threes. He picked his spots and let the game come to him. He wasn't forcing terrible three point shots and going 2-9. Nobody on this board has ever questioned his heart or work ethic. We have questioned his shot selection for a senior.
