The D played very well. They bent but didn't break and they never gave up. IF Dino can land a few big DLs via juco or portal we will be very good next year. Hope Dino can convince some of these guys to return. LBs are going to become a strength as the frosh grow up. DBs are really strong and again just need to add some muscle. Cooney continues our run of great punters and Smytzy is money. Negatives continue to be a lack of discipline. There is no excuse for these. Dino needs to do a push up for each penalty yard as this is 100% on him. Ohana needs to get his act together on this aspect of his team. Other observations are based on a lack of Offensive game planning. I realize we are beat up and young but why didnt we utilize our TEs more. Short throws.. Also the use of the clock. It was obvious during certain parts of the game the D was gassed yet we didnt use the clock. Great coaches manage these areas well Dino not so much. All in all it was a solid effort. JM is a keeper.
