I agree on dallas. Its not a sexy jan 1st game nut hey its jan 1st nonetheless

No Shreveport. That is my only request. From our likely bowls, it interferes with my SU v ASU women's basketball event in Tempe. Staff would end up there and not in AZ. Any other bowl works. A lot of people want Dallas who seem to not otherwise get to see SU football. So for them, I will root for Dallas.
Dallas also messes me up. One son lives in Dallas, one in Pasadena. Plans to go to see the Rose Bowl floats in Pasadena. Dallas son might feel that if SU is in his city I should be there. So my dream to see the floats may have to wait another year.

2. Dallas - New Year's day bowl in a historic stadium
3. Pizza Bowl - indoors for the fans. Not hard to get to.
