Many moons ago I went to a lunch with Boeheim (and others) at the hotel at Newark airport.  After the lunch, the girl (whose name escapes me - I think it was something Sinopoli) from the fund raising department said that that she was amazed at how relaxed he was and how willing he was to answer questions.  She added that that was the most she had ever seen him talk and share info at an event like that.

Fast Forward to that episode of the Michael Kay show that Boeheim did.  I sat in the first row for that.  After the show was over, his entire body language screamed that he just wanted to be left alone.  Any number of people went up to him anyway looking for pics and autographs.  I stuck around for a couple minutes to watch and his demeanor was much, much different.  He was obliging, but very abrupt and a smile was nowhere to be found.  I left without approaching because it was clear he was not in the mood.
