1. Obviously #1 was the game winner vs. UNLV. His weight room, beast mode, get-your-hands-off-me run that won the game.

Others, in no particular order:

2. UNLV also, we had 4th and 1 from the 25 yard line with a little over a minute left. LQA gets wrapped up in the backfield, fights through it, and extends the run. If he gets tackled, we lose.

3. We were up 17-16 vs. Ohio mid-third quarter and the game was unsettlingly close. 3rd and goal and LQA makes an incredible one-handed TD catch in the bottom right corner of the TV screen.

4. Georgia Tech, we were up 31-14, and they go on a furious rally to make it 31-28 and I am pacing around my house about to have a nervous breakdown. With a minute left and GT having two timeouts, LQA breaks multiple tackles and goes on a long game saving run, with the headiness to stay in-bounds.

5. First play of OT vs. Virginia Tech, LQA runs for like 20 yards, and then scores on the next play.

6. Lots of other short yardage critical TD runs against Cal, Miami, etc. that blend together in my head a bit.

Please add to this list.

Great list. Not sure you missed anything with it.

Regarding 1, one of my favorite things about that play was what happened after it.

Shortly before that play, LeQuint had been laid out by a hospital ball Kyle threw to him in the flat where the LB just crushed Allen. He got up very slowly and limped to the sidelines.

My reaction was, well that was that...looks like the game is over. LeQuint is surely done for the day and maybe for a couple of weeks.

And then he goes out there in that crucial red zone situation and takes on the strongest and toughest UNLV player one on one and somehow carries that muscle laden psycho into the end zone.

And then limps over to the UNLV student section, which was sitting in the end zone stands where he just scored, and proceeded to talk trash to them, section by section, as he limped across the back of the end zone.

Legend!

Mannnnn going to Las Vegas for that game was such a great decision. Was such a wonderful time. Mandalay Bay was all orange postgame.
I was born in ‘97. The Purdue win in the Dome and the UNLV game are probably the two best games of my lifetime that we played in. Just in terms of the twists and turns of the game. Feeling like it was over multiple times.

Clemson and Miami are obviously the two best upsets but Purdue in 2022 and UNLV 2024 are my two favorite wins all time.

Great list. I personally think your number 2 was his best run all year. Its was an unbelievable effort. One of the best single effort plays I have ever seen from an SU player.

Those UNLV plays stand out to me, and stood out at the time, because I had been so frustrated earlier in the game when he was too slow to get outside when he tried to and was tackled for losses or around a 1 yard gain. It was as if he got mad and became a different guy on those runs.
