My dad said the exact same thing when I called him after the game. We had a 10-15 point lead and it felt insurmountable. If we had played at full speed, we could've won by more, but it also would've given UNC their only chance at a comeback with fast break points.

Felt like this all year to me. Once we get it to 8-10 I never have fear that we'll lose that type of lead. On the flip side, when we were down by 8 or so early I wasn't panicked at all. Amazing how much impact a freshman PG can have.

We don't slow it up, and Cooney has even a slightly below average shooting game, and we win by 25.

I know this isn't the best UNC team ever, but that's still one hell of a testament to this team, to be able to play what I'd consider maybe a B- overall game and still win convincingly over a Blue Blood opponent.

JB has employed more and more "football" game management over the years when we have a decent lead in the last 10 minutes (4th quarter) of the game. It can drive fans nuts but it works 98% of the time.
