I actually have no problem with Coyle going after Frost as there is no way of predicting whether Frost or Babers was better for the job. Frost has much more recruiting buzz and is higher profile with a TON of upside but Babers has the system and is a proven winner.  Given the previous relationship, I'm not too surprised Frost was choice 1, but given how quickly Babers was closed on afterwards it sounds like he was 1a.

I would love to hear a post-mortem on how the Frost deal fell through but I bet Frost was agreed in principle and UCF came in with the ridiculous buy out to counter what SU was offering to change the landscape of the negotiation.
