1.  This is basically the exact same position we were in last year going into Stony Brook, and we ended up 8-5 with a bowl game win. 2.  Re QB I think it's hard to assess unless you go to all the practices and\or talk to the coaches and know exactly what they are thinking.  Personally my line of thinking was that it doesn't make much sense to have Allen out there sucking when we can have a younger guy out there sucking with the possibility of improvement.  But, another poster had what I think is a pretty astute point - if the coaches already know that Hunt is not the guy for the future (ie one of the frosh or recruits is already better), and they still think Allen gives us a better chance this year, then it makes sense to stay with Allen.  
3.  I watched another team play on Thursday night.  They had a great offense last year, lost a ton of weapons, and now look completely lost on offense.  Confusion everywhere, receivers running the wrong routes, drops, etc.  And their qb is Tom Brady.  It does take time, unfortunately in the college game you don't get time.
