I thought that I could like chocolate and vanilla. I didn't realize that if I liked chocolate and hated vanilla that my hatred of vanilla would lead to chocolate's downfall or would be a sign of such downfall.

Because when a football program is strong you want to talk about your own football program not about some school in another conference that doesn't effect SU at all anymore. Just ignore Rutgers, no need to have a new Rutgers thread every single day. Or keep Rutgers threads alive for days and days on end. Those threads are more active than most SU football related threads most of the time

Some here love to point out that recruits visit these websites and read what is said...doesn't say much that everyday you have to scroll through multiple Rutgers posts to get to SU football talk. Great message being sent there to the recruits!

Some of us were simply dumping on a coach we dislike, like the threads. Schiano sucks as an HC. We were just having fun at his demise. I'm not usually in to schadenfreude but I make exceptions were a moron is over the top (Kiffin being praised as the great football genius just because daddy hired him; Schiano demanding a helicopter to help recruiting, etc.). That it involves Rutgers is a coincidence, not a basis for the logic.
