Tyler Battle was having his ankle or foot tended to. He had his left shoe off and was given ice on the sideline. It didn't look too serious but did effect his playing time in the 2nd half. I totally agree that it's been fun watching these guys play and trying to figure out their roles and how to play with each other. Last night was a fun night seeing the work in progress. You can see some players' confidence slowly grow. PC is getting better each game defensively and is moving better out there. Lydon and DC have been monsters on the glass. Lydon has been great in doing the "little things" on the court that makes a team successful, making that extra pass, tipping balls etc. DC in his limited minutes has been giving it all when he's out there and has really improved getting up and down the court. He has some excellent post moves. So far this effort to limit his minutes , saving stress on his knees but going all out in those minutes, seems to be working. He's even shown a nice soft touch out to around 8 feet. Roberson is becoming more aggressive on the offensive end, a monster on the boards and pure money from the free throw line. Frank Howard is the obvious better facilitator out there, initiating the offense and getting his teammates involved. Gillon is the energizer bunny always putting pressure on opponent's defense looking to get to the basket. AW is showing more diversity in his offense taking it to the basket and helping out handling the ball when we're being pressured. Just love his step back jumper - so smooth! Thompson has been a great surprise, an athletic energetic shot blocker with a fun to watch motor who has proven so far to be a real offensive threat. It will be interesting to see how we react and improve against teams with greater physicality and size. The walk ons came in with well over 2 minutes with SU at 93 points and delivered our first 100+ point game since 2012. Was a fun evening overall - now to continue the consistency and improvement in our march to a special season against better and better competition.
