[2] the aforementioned foul trouble made Melo play a very, very conservative defensive game. He had that one dangerous stretch where he drew several offensive fouls, but zero blocks today. Advantage: Marquette. Our team defense has been such a weapon all season long, taking a big part of that away and making it more of a half court scrum really hurt our transition game.
 
And the foul trouble to Melo was all the more frustrating given that Jae Crowder had several obvious push in the backs that weren't called--would have loved for him to have to sit for a lengthy stretch in the second half like Fab had to because of foul trouble.
 
But bottom line, we found a way to win and survive. This is DEFINITELY the type of game we would have lost last year.
