Pre-snap motion is great and all, but it adds a layer of complexity and if your QB is too inexperienced to read the defense correctly based off the motion, why add that complexity? I hope during the spring when Tommy is healthy, Gilbert and Tommy help the OL identify the right way to pick up blitzes, pressure based on routes and field position.

We saw it early in the season a couple of times when Tommy moved laterally toward where his receivers’ routes where taking them, an OL blocked a rusher right into him.
