We lost a lot of starters for this game, that we were even in the game is impressive.  That we should have won is off the charts.  We played, 2s, 3s, and 4s due to injuries and players moving on.   Had we closed on the three drives, or even scored TDs on the two we kicked FGs, the game is completely different.  Playing raw talent as opposed to having live game experience probably cost the game.  Having our full, or near full team, leads me to think that the team is much deeper than most think, which implies it is better than many think.

Minny deserves less credit for their "great" play than SU's raw talent.  If the game were played again next week, Minny loses by two TDs.  (Opinion, not established fact).  In my opinion, this SU team would dominate the B1G West and hold its own in the B1G East.  (Yes, UM, tOSU and PSU would be losses).
