I could hear these individuals because I was wearing ear plugs. They cancel out the loudness but seem to allow for individual voices to come through. Towards the end of the game I took out my earplugs because there weren’t many people left in the Dome. I heard a loud roaring noise. Figured out it had to be the air conditioners. Put the ear plugs back in.

In the first quarter I texted some friends that I felt sorry for Holy Cross. Well, that did it and Holy Cross came back with a vengeance in the second quarter. I found it disturbing and as I watched the rest of the game my unease did not diminish. Like so many have said, we have undoubtedly misoverestimated what the team will be able to do this year. It is what it isn’t.

I was glad to read that the defense was good in the second half. I didn’t realize it because I was so focused on the offense and its mishaps. (I miss most of what goes on in the game besides the obvious and sometimes not even then.  :confused: ) It is always great to read the board and find out what REALLY happened.
