For the rest… I think Defense did a good job on figuring it out as they fixed something after the large point issues. But it still needs that tackle problem we always have. I can’t recall how many times a hand was on the QB or just sooooooo close that it can be an excuse with no take down or deterent from a play being made from the opposite team. It was more times than I see in the NFL in a year in one game where it didn't happen or another didn't follow up. Other times on offense, the left guard (offense) on our part failed a good block, or someone else decided not to protect as they knew the play was going RIGHT. As I mentioned elsewhere. Our QB Telegraphs his intended target, and our line doesn’t protect accordingly or lets stuff go through as a result like we aren’t running that way why block. But we also always run to the left, and there are no blocks. The result was ok, not good, and never great, but it was a nailbiter when it should have been something to be seen and accommodated for in the 1st quarter for all of that.
