Can’t post after a 9 pm game. Too late for me.

I will start by giving credit to St Joseph’s. They are having a tough season but played really hard. Impressive. Donohue is a good coach and they will be good again soon.

I think George was sick. Haven’t read any thing about the game but it sure looked like he was under the weather. If so, I can’t criticize him for trying to help the team when not 100%.

Kyle always seems to play well and come up big. Good defender and rebounder. Not much of an offensive game and gets most of his points on offensive rebounds and free throws. Thank god for him.

Kingz is a fine player who can shoot from 3, drive and defend. Not much of a rebounder or ball handler. When Freeman comes back (if he comes back), will Autry play he at the 2 some? Hope so.

Our biggest weaknesses are related to our relatively small size with no Freeman. We are poor at rebounding, especially on the defensive end. Betsey is 6’8 225 but plays like he is 6’4. Anthony plays like he is 6’0. White could be a good rebounder and probably will be some day but is not right now.

Hopefully Autry can get Betsey, White and Anthony to rebound more. It is one of the keys to the season. But the biggest key is Freeman and whether he can play this year. Hopefully he can and finishes the season strong.

We need JJ and Kiyan to understand they are not stars that need to shoot whenever possible. Share the ball and only take good shots.

There is potential here but everything depends on Freeman. Let’s hope he is ready to play (and dominate).

I just rewatched the game. Nate George was 100% sick. came out 3-4 mins into the game. He was sitting on the bench then got up and walked down the tunnel in a daze came back a few mins later looking like he had just been throwing up.

Red mentioned in his post game presser that they had a few guys sick but he wasn’t going to use it as an excuse, sometimes you have to play sick. He then changed the subject quickly.

Yea agreed. No excuses. Just making an observation that usually you don’t see a guy leave the bench and walk down the tunnel on their own looking in rough shape. Especially 3 mins into a game.
