Hunt is the little engine that could. His play ain't pretty. You don't always want him on the track. But, he doesn't quit. It's clear to see why the team rallied around him. His last pick was maddening, and left me thinking, again, that he is not the QB of the future for this program. But, with the win, he is the QB of the future. Better get used to it folks. I hope he can work on the finer points of his game, touch, accuracy, looking off DBs, and arm strength. It'll be the difference between 6-6 and 9-3 type seasons in the future.

BC coaches were solid  most of the game. We outmuscled them on the front lines, and bulled our way to victory. Play this game in Chestnut, and BC wins by maybe a couple TDs. Still, our coaches beat their coaches by calling some brilliant plays there at the end.

Definitely some karmic soup on those plays. Only an opponent with SU connections calls that play. Great job by Addazzio, better job by McDonald. P and D must have loved it.

With bowl eligibility secured by his successor coach, Marrone's rebuild is "complete".  Time to move on from all things Marrone, and to all things Shafer. He earns a lot of cred with this victory, and the right to do whatever the heck he wants with McDonald. It's time now to recruit well, and get more competitive with the likes of Clemson in the future.
