I eagerly await the response as well! I will say, this is the second time already this year where we were struggling a bit and he opened things up for us on the offensive end. I think it may have been St. Bonaventure as well - where the opponent went on a run in the second half, and MR scored a few points to take the lid off the basket. Tonight Charlotte came out and scored the first 10 (I think it was 10) and MR answered with a three, and a nice deep two off the bounce. Against the Bonnies he did it off the bounce. It's good to have another option that can score and relieve some of that pressure from G and Cooney. Agree with Tomcat on KJ. After the pre-season I was really excited about his progression as a player. However, yet again KJ seemed to struggle mightily when given minutes. I do think we should avoid having him playing PG whenever possible. I think he gets too caught up in adopting that role. I hate JB's rotations thus far this year and I think to a certain extent it hinders KJ. I would try to avoid the whole mass-substitution pattern for the guards. I don't want KJ/FH playing at the same time. For two weaker defensive player experience wise, it can't be good to have to not only worry about your own assignment, but also be overly concerned about the failings of your compadre. In my opinion, KJ should be in for Cooney and let G continue his role as the primary ballhandler with KJ just assisting as TC normally would. Hopefully functioning solely as the shooting guard takes some pressure off KJ - who sucks as a PG. Really, he's not a PG. FH should relieve MG, and should be getting more minutes. ZERO minutes in the second half? Are you freaking serious? JB, you baffle me. Roberson was awful in the second half. Wow. Cooney had a great game all-around - thought he really set the tone early and was fantastic overall. Still struggles near the tin, but he dropped a couple in as well. He also came through as a rim-protector with a nice block. DC was good in the first half - not so much in the second, but not quite Roberson like. I always thought he had better hands - he fumbles the ball a lot. TL was great. Will be interesting to see him play against some bigger teams... G was great.
