On the play calling- can we please use Brennan for something other than a shovel pass? The timing that play required to have any chance at success is not something we're good at. This is a tight end with wide receiver speed. Get him out into space!

I think we saw more success from TD today because the running game was more successful. A couple of his passes were great. Still hate the play were he went OB one yard short of the marker on the third and 20. And the throw into double coverage to Harris was suspect. But a solid day for him. Still believe he’s just starting to scratch the surface of what he can and will do this year. The entire offense needs to find its personality - OC included. It will come.

I'll also bet that Coach White will remind the defense that they had GT in a 1st and 35 and they ended up getting a first down. That can't happen either.

I am so mentally whipped, when I saw 1st and 35 for GT, I was thinking oh cr*p, we are screwed. They are sure to convert.

Marlowe Wax should give a clinic to his fellow defenders on tackling. Dude is for real.

Very poor angles and tackling were the biggest culprits IMHO for the success of the GT run game. Really need to clean that up. Too many shoulder thumps instead of wrapping up.

Taj Harris is a great talent but is more Erv than Steve if you get me.

it’s easy to notice why he didnt contest harder for the 50/50, he can’t soak up contact before the catch. Its not lack of effort imo, he just doesnt have the build for 50/50s

I think it's more than that. I think he really struggles on making adjustments to the ball. There's a knack to getting in the right position to be able to go up and get a 50/50 ball. It's not just about out muscling the db.

The 3-3-5 is vulnerable on the corner if you don't have a special player to set the edge. Hard to win 1 on 1s with agile RBs. All too often yesterday we lost inside leverage.

I watched a ton of football Saturday and every other teams WRs - on the looks test - dwarf our guys. Taller, thicker, it's insane how big some of these receivers are.

Well said and yes, our wr recruiting and development has been lacking. We dont have any physicality and that is an extra stress on TD given the stubborn play calling not using combo routes and the middle of the field. Tommy dropped some really nice dimes but is still drifting carelessly to his back foot in throws he could step into.

Guy is incredible.

Leach does it wherever he goes and to now do it in the sec says alot. He understands space and using the whole field.

There is one thing that I want Tommy to improve on... He gets a little panicky when he has to leave the pocket... Even on some roll outs there are guys open that he is not seeing... I think he needs to work on his vision under pressure.. Its extremely difficult to work on this... but he needs to remain calm and see the field. its only a few times a game he is missing wide open guys under pressure but it would really have teams thinking twice about bringing pressure if he can raise his level of play in this area.. I thought he played pretty well today.. I am a fan of him and you... Tell him to keep working hard to get better.. he has the arm.. he needs to get the game to slow down just a bit... Great positive win for the young man today

Leach is amazing, Washington St offered Tommy when leach was their, he might've put up some video game numbers out in pullman under leach and against those PAC12 defenses. Glad we have him but it's on DB to make it work, if TD is as accurate as most of us think then he would've killed it their and no excuse why he cant kill it here, were looking at you DB & SG.

This video should work, I love the spacing in the Leach air raid, I wish we stole some of it, TD might not be lighting the world on fire now but he can do everything KJ Costello is doing.
