Let the coaches coach. Stop micromanaging the O side of the ball. 4: Grow a set of balls. This team needs a firm hand. Establish discipline. Weed out any malcontents. Stop with the Ohana BS and hold coaches and players accountable. 5: Do a complete review of the strength and conditioning, nutrition, and medical staffs. Make investments in these areas. 6: Recruiting. Hire Dave Boller or someone else to focus entirely on transfers. Director of transfer recruiting. Im serious. Make the transfer portal a priority. Starting this year and going forward the portal represents as important a " recruiting territory" as any area in the country. It instantly turned Liberty and other schools into winning programs. For SU it has to become a priority. Last point. Its obvious Dino gets next year and unless he totally tanks 2 more years. If im JW i would all over him. I would increase the pressure on him 10 fold. By that i wouldn't just meet with him for lunch once a week. Rather i would require him to provide a specific plan on how he was going to address all aspects of MY program because at the end of the day its Syracuse University's football program and the University has empowered JW to run it. Not Dino. Dino only gets to coach it. JW needs to all over Dino. Like a compression sock on an Owie. Just because you cant fire someone doesn't mean you cant manage them. Dino needs his balls busted and he needs his boss to question everything he is doing, and is going to do to earn his salary and coach this team.
