How does Fran and our small private University navigate and thrive in the Wild West of college football. My answer is that we are going to do extremely well. What Fran is offering is going to attract and retain enough good players for Syracuse to compete. We are never going to have the most NIL and we are never going to have the best facilities. But as DART grows and Fran continues to walk the walk what we will have is a culture that is somewhat in line with what the academies have only with much better athletes. Family, love, brotherhood are preached by about every program on the planet. Truth be told it is rare. With Fran it is genuine, it is who he is not what he says. He is the real deal and the kids, and their families know it. Fran is special and because of him and if we as fans and the administration support him, we are going to remain competitive and relevant. Syracuse University Football is back. Not on its way back but BACK and we are going to remain strong as long as Fran is our coach. Sure, next year is going to be tough. Most likely a step back in wins. But if we look beyond the wins and loses i believe that we are going to see the team improve overall. Depth will improve along with the athleticism. size, and strength of our players. Fran and his staff will improve as coaches, in short, we are going to be in position to hang with the big boys. To remain competitive in November. To be a threat to beat every team we play. To be what Syracuse University Football is meant to be. An Eastern football power.
