* Flat as a tire. Team looked sluggish from the start. I have to wonder if flying down later on Friday ended up being a bad move. Not sure what the rules are but i think a little more time to acclimate might have helped.
*Poor field position to start the game really hurt us. With ED just coming back i knew that Lester would be super conservative but our poor field position just made things worse.
* Gap D was terrible. I think that Parris getting banged up didnt help still i was hoping for a correction at the half which we never got.
* Too much option. This kid is going to get killed if this keeps up. I dont want to see this become our primary O
* Too little Wildcat. Thought that after we went for it and got the first down on Fourth that we should have brought it out.
* Too little Frederick. He is without a doubt our best RB needs to be on the field way more often.
* Ish. What throw the ball to him all he does is make plays
* Mistakes. ED made many on poor decisions. Hes learning and the upside is huge but he showed his age yesterday.
* South Florida. Is very good. I hated this game because they have a ton of talent and speed. Didnt like playing at homecoming and didnt like this being our first road game. Wish we could have switched VA and SF. Their lines were exceptional and they have big fast kids all over the field. Mack is better than anything we have. Their WR beat ours hands down. Both lines are exceptional. This is a talented team one that has hung with FSU and Memphis.
It goes without saying that our season is on the line next weekend. VA just became a must win. I think that we will bounce back and i believe that we beat VA and Pitt. NC State is winnable as is LV and possibly Clemson. Still it might just come down to BC.
I expect us to bounce back and i expect us to win 6
