Well, I took the wrong exit.  And boy, was he right - it was really hard to cross the street on which the parade was being held.  I must have walked 2-3 miles trying to figure out where I could cross.  I finally managed to cross in between a few black SUVs...I look over to my right, and see our Presiden- Elect waving out of the window of one of the SUVs, and to my left, I see a guy standing atop of a pickup truck flatbed, with an automatic rifle, staring at me.  I furiously point to the other side of the street and gesture that I'm simply trying to cross the street.

Never in my life did I need a pre-game beverage more than that day.
