Good. Under her direction admission standards have declined. They should have increased given our increasing visibility in the NE and the Nation. Of course, we could do worse. It is up to the Board to determine the future of the Univ. Without inside info. it will take years for us to figure out if the direction will be changed. My preference is to obtain the highest possible academic reputation.

I was kind of surprised, but I guess I shouldn't have been. I think she's done a terrific job, although there are aspects of her stewardship that I know some are unhappy about. Ten years and out. I have to imagine she's probably going to use the time to line up her next gig. She's too young to retire.
