He handled it very well, much better than he did earlier in the season and the past 2 seasons. His improvement this season is a joy to watch. I'm not even sure if the play calling was poorly executed. I rarely criticize play calls because I'm nowhere close to being an OC ever in my life. I just noticed the pattern, and if SU had lost this would be one of the themes for sure.
 
At the half I was hoping they would come out firing because it looked like Lemon and Sales were getting open, and Nassib had time to throw. I was surprised when the first 2 possessions of the second half followed the same ratio as the first half roughly 2/3 run and 1/3 pass.
 
I wonder if anything would have been different to start the 3rd quarter if SU is down 21-10 instead of 17-10? The defense really picked up after those early Mizzou scores. Although I hope the defense can figure out how to avoid the WR screen pass for a long TD early in games.
