I'm saying that separation is evidence of how poor the conference is. We can't acknowledge in one breath that four of the five worst teams in the NBA are in the East and praise the top of the East for separation while knocking the top of the West for not differentiating itself. The West is a battle, the East has nights off. A lot of nights off.

Your hypothetical all-star team of East vs West contenders sans Warriors isn't evidence of anything, and I soundly reject it, because that's not a circumstance that plays out in any setting, and conveniently casts aside a whole lot of other elite talent in the West that the East simply can't match.

Take every "contender" in the East with a grain of salt until they actually accomplish something.
