Being in the 50 win area is not a disaster.   It means some years you are not a true contender, but then you are not in the mediocre treadmill territory either especially if you have some younger pieces... you are one good re-tool trade, one or two good late picks, a bit of luck away from the conference finals / finals.   You set up yourself to go for it later.

People that demand a full rebuild don't realize that teams are often stuck there seemingly forever.   The desire to tank in Toronto was no greater amongst fans than in 2014... for Andrew Wiggins.   Tanking is not always the solution -- sometimes it makes sense but often it backfires or gets team back to 50 win and nothing more.
