And I don't think any of those scenarios are remotely likely.

If I were in Miami's shoes, I'd gladly trade Butler + pieces for Harden but I'm lower on Butler than most. Similarly, I think Miami's best path to getting Giannis is by sending Butler to Milwaukee or sending him somewhere else to free up the money. I'd much rather do that than the alternative, which is getting rid of basically everyone but Bam and Butler.

I would guess if/when Harden is traded, it won't be to any of those 4 teams honestly. I just don't think Miami will pull the trigger even though they should. I don't think Houston will take Brooklyn's offer. I think Philly is the most likely of the 4 but we'll see; there's a lot of bad blood between Fertitta and Morey.
