The real issue is why did the league make a team fly with 11 players out.    Apparently 11 out of 16 was OK for the NBA.   But not 12 (or possibly more).   The last remaining starter OG tested positive today, was finally enough for the NBA to finally cancel the game.

But here is the dumbest thing.   By making the Raptors fly last night, OG Anunoby and some other Raptor staff who were on last night's flight now get to spend Christmas quarantined in Chicago rather than at home in Toronto

As an aside  In those 2 losses the Bulls had Vuc, Lavine, Ball and Caruso, but really weak bench.    So they at least had more of a fighting chance in those 2 losses then the Raptors were going to have tonight with only 5 roster players --  only 1 starter (just returning from injury) and no point guards other than replacement players.

In the end now the Raptors may get "lucky" schedule wise in their outbreak because it largely occurred during a 4 day schedule break (in part because Orlando had to cancel their game).  They only ended up playing 1 game with 2 players out.    Although not sure what happens after this.
