Loyola out to a good start. Letting the big boys play physical so should be interesting. If they were to shock Illinois.. our bracket gets even sexier if we can win today.

Personnel wise Loyola is a good match for Illinois. Illinois is athletic at guard, good shooters and then the big guys inside. Loyola the same and so well coached.

I really wanted GT to win on Friday because I enjoy Pastner and Alvarado but once Wright was out I was all in on Loyola. GT would have got boatraced today

Yeah I mean this year was tough to seed but they got this one wrong. That said a lot of teams played off Illinois all year. Loyola not giving them space and pinching their driving lanes has really confused IL. If not for some 3s they could be down 13-14 pts.

Despite their metrics I felt VT got screwed too. They were ranked were they not? Never saw a ranked team a 10 seed.
