He isn't going to play for them this year either. He picked a team loaded with more experienced and talented players. Would have had an easier path to playing time at Syracuse.
Hope he is more patient this time, stays in school and gets some playing time and a degree.
I think the NCAA allows immediate transfers from teams on NCAA probation, so Woody might end up playing at 3 or 4 schools before he is done.

Tark also said that he preferred to target recruits that had already verballed elsewhere. Before that, he had to compete with every other school in the country. After the kid verballed, he only was competing with just one school.
Funny story that I read years ago about JB being guest speaker at a UNLV luncheon. He stepped up to the microphone with a bag full of phony cash and said that Tark accidently left it at a recruit's house and that he was returning it to him.

Can’t blame him. Have a feeling the fact that Syracuse wasn’t quite Syracuse last year made it easier to leave.
Also, I can’t wait for the NCAA to cease to exist. Ridiculous punishment.
