NCAA Cabinet Decision Clarifies DI Bracket Expansion

I assume that the bottom 4 rated AQ teams compete in two play-in games with the winners becoming the #15 and #16 seeds.

With geographic considerations thrown in there, I'm sure. ;)

Good news. It will be interesting to see what happens when the ACC loses MD and is down to 5 in 2015. Apply for a waiver to maintain the AQ until (insert club-playing team here - BC/Lville/etc.) can get up to D-1 level?

The ACC will keep their AQ for 2015 and 2016 per the 2 year grace period rule.
Nice - 2 year grace period after having the AQ for 1 year. Is this a great country, or what?

I would assume Lville will probably start a program in that timeframe or if thats not an option the ACC will cherry pick someone to be a Lax only member. Likely a lower team program to give the rest of the league a breather game ie VMI, Furman etc.
