Now in addition to that. You know need to feed the mouths of the NCAA, the thousands of bowl sponsors and people that bring those events to city’s, all while keeping the money away from the athletes.

The NFL is so amazing because of the parity.  Once college football realizes that parity is what makes sports so exciting and entertaining, they will thrive.  They need one leader, one direction, one contract, even playing rules.

Bottom line, too many people want to keep the status quo in college sports because they all get a nice handout of money.   If it were to consolidate into a smaller league, a lot of people would lose their handouts
