I don't read articles anymore. I just read the headline and then make up the story myself. Anyway, I think in most cases, the men's teams would win.
I was going to make a joke about this, but this one is better than what I was thinking.I don't read articles anymore. I just read the headline and then make up the story myself. Anyway, I think in most cases, the men's teams would win.
True equality. No more gender barriers. Let the best players play.
Meh.
Let the women have their own spotlight.
I never heard the women either complain about their championship being separate from the men’s. There has been plenty of complaint about unequal treatment, access to facilities, travel, practice facilities and equipment etc.Womens Final Four is a great event. Sounds like they are going to make attending it far more expensive if people have to outbid Mens Final Four fans for hotels and such.
THose tickets sell well as is and the venues are full. I know people who go every year its a huge thing for ladies hoops fans.
People who fly in Saturday are not going to fly in Friday for 2 ladies games. If you win Sat and are playing Monday you are likely interested in checking out the Ladies Championship game in theory but in reality if my team was playing in a 1 game winner take all National Championship and I was in town for it I think I'd want to do something other than go to a basketball game the day before it since I know I'd be going the following day and it would be for all the marbles.
Its just a bad idea in reality and not even a good one in theory.
And you all say men don't listen, sheesh.I never heard the women either complain about their championship being separate from the men’s. There has been plenty of complaint about unequal treatment, access to facilities, travel, practice facilities and equipment etc.
NCAA undervalues women's basketball by millions, report says
NCAA urged to funnel more money into women's basketball because it's a growing sport offering a bucket of revenue.www.cbsnews.com
