Is anyone picking up the new college football game today?

I'm curious to know which Heisman winners are in it. I read today there are 16 former winners you can put on any team, but I'm assuming Ernie will not be among them. Howard, Tebow, RG3 and Barry Sanders are four of them, wondering who the other 12 are.

I picked the game up this afternoon, and so far I'm pretty surprised by how much it feels like an improvement over 12, as for the heismen players that you can play as there is: RG3, Doug , Barry Sanders, Herschel Walker, Desmond Howard, Charlie Ward, Marcus Allen, Andre Ware, Eddie George, and Carson Palmer. Archie Griffin, Tim Brown, Jim Plunkett, Tim Tebow, Mark Ingram, and Matt Leinart are also available as DLC, with plans for others to be added at a later time.

Why not make all heisman winners available? Just ed. I will be picking up the game soon, if anyone feels like playing my ps3 user name is Jcuse5

I skipped my lunch at work so i could pick it up. I ended up not getting home to almost nine. Now my wife is making me watch dance moms.

Grabbed the game last night. Started a dynasty right away. Same thing I said last year, I love the whole "starting out as an OC or a DC" thing, but I feel like they should make you start out at some bum school, and work your way up to your dream school. I know you could just pick a bum school and go from there, idk, just something I thought of. I just wanted to get some game time in, so I picked SU right off the bat.

They changed up how you recruit, you can now pick the topics that you want to talk to recruits about. SU only had about 3 topics that were graded above a B.

You can now see the players overall rating now, instead of just how many stars they are. Going hand in hand with this, you can scout players. You get 3 hours of scouting a week. Some of the players that you are recruiting are already 100% scouted, which means the overall rating that is shown, is the actual rating for that player. Some tho, are 0% scouted, or 70% scouted already. As you scout these players the overall rating for the player could increase or decrease. They have alot more busts, and hidden gems in there.

They say its alot easier to recruit someone that doesnt have your school in their top 10 then it used to be. Your game play now has alot to do with recruiting. If your going for a HB but you never run the ball, it will be harder to land that player.

I was only able to play the Northwestern game (at about half time my wife started making the "how much longer are you going to do this" comments lol) so I dont have very much to say about the game play yet. I havent played NCAA 2012 in a month or so, I might run a game of that tonight, then go back to '13 to be able to notice the difference.

One thing I can say, atleast for the NU game, Nassib to Chew was a deadly combo.

I just moved wayyyy out into the woods, so until I can get DISH out to my house and have them put a pole and a dish up I wont be able to hook the ps3 up to the internet, which means I cant download the actual rosters, or play online. Ill let you know when I'm up tho, for those of you that have ps3. Prolly wont be until around september, as the summers up here are way too nice to be inside on the TV.

If you did that the one Rutgers alum they have on staff would probably get real upset :)

This is actually the first year i have not pre ordered the Game and taken the day off work when it comes out. Haha. My friends and i have been doing that for a long time and we are 32 now...i can honestly say this is tne one game i will never stop buying and playing the hell out of. We usually get About 7 seasons deep in our dynasties before the next years game comes out. If anyone feels like getting a syracusefan.com online dynasty going im game. Anyone interested?

I started a dynasty with Texas St just because they are one of the three new schools in the game and I just finished my first season. The new recruiting is so much more helpful, I was able to lure a few 3 star guys away from the likes of Houston, SMU, and Rice. Make sure to take complete advantage of your pipelines this year because players from your state seem to be much more likely to consider you.

I don't think I'm getting this year's game (first time since 03 IIRC). I play almost exclusively dynasty so I don't care about the heisman mode, and it doesn't sound like they changed much about that.

I also almost always start with the worst teams in sports games. In 2012 I started as the OC at WKU, and moved on to Cal for a few seasons. My only gripe is moving on up in the ranks in these games is a bit too easy, IMO.

How on earth is there no Bo Jackson? Does Tecmo still have the rights?

I'd be interested in a Dynasty. I have a ps3. If anyone wants a game, DM me and I'll give you my username. I'm getting Wisdom Teeth out tomorrow morning, so I'll be playing a lot over the next couple days.

Am I the only one here with an Xbox? I would love to do a dynasty but I need to find people to do it with

I have an XBox but I'm not sure if I'm getting the game. If I do, I love to do a dynasty.

Quoting Chris Cater "Come on Man" I'm not a stickler for grammar but "funner" it's more fun. :bang:

Online dynasty's are fun. We do a large one last couple years with peeps from all over. Seems like someone from a rival big east school came on to scout and they started one with a rep from each team in the conference. That would be pretty cool.
