I'm curious to know which Heisman winners are in it. I read today there are 16 former winners you can put on any team, but I'm assuming Ernie will not be among them. Howard, Tebow, RG3 and Barry Sanders are four of them, wondering who the other 12 are.
they do it just do they can sell the others later for more moneyWhy not make all heisman winners available? Just ed. I will be picking up the game soon, if anyone feels like playing my ps3 user name is Jcuse5
Grabbed the game last night. Started a dynasty right away. Same thing I said last year, I love the whole "starting out as an OC or a DC" thing, but I feel like they should make you start out at some bum school, and work your way up to your dream school. I know you could just pick a bum school and go from there, idk, just something I thought of. I just wanted to get some game time in, so I picked SU right off the bat.
They changed up how you recruit, you can now pick the topics that you want to talk to recruits about. SU only had about 3 topics that were graded above a B.
You can now see the players overall rating now, instead of just how many stars they are. Going hand in hand with this, you can scout players. You get 3 hours of scouting a week. Some of the players that you are recruiting are already 100% scouted, which means the overall rating that is shown, is the actual rating for that player. Some tho, are 0% scouted, or 70% scouted already. As you scout these players the overall rating for the player could increase or decrease. They have alot more busts, and hidden gems in there.
They say its alot easier to recruit someone that doesnt have your school in their top 10 then it used to be. Your game play now has alot to do with recruiting. If your going for a HB but you never run the ball, it will be harder to land that player.
I was only able to play the Northwestern game (at about half time my wife started making the "how much longer are you going to do this" comments lol) so I dont have very much to say about the game play yet. I havent played NCAA 2012 in a month or so, I might run a game of that tonight, then go back to '13 to be able to notice the difference.
One thing I can say, atleast for the NU game, Nassib to Chew was a deadly combo.
I just moved wayyyy out into the woods, so until I can get DISH out to my house and have them put a pole and a dish up I wont be able to hook the ps3 up to the internet, which means I cant download the actual rosters, or play online. Ill let you know when I'm up tho, for those of you that have ps3. Prolly wont be until around september, as the summers up here are way too nice to be inside on the TV.
I started a dynasty with Texas St just because they are one of the three new schools in the game and I just finished my first season. The new recruiting is so much more helpful, I was able to lure a few 3 star guys away from the likes of Houston, SMU, and Rice. Make sure to take complete advantage of your pipelines this year because players from your state seem to be much more likely to consider you.Grabbed the game last night. Started a dynasty right away. My friends and i have been doing that for a long time and we are 32 now...i can honestly say this is tne one game i will never stop buying and playing the hell out of.
