I am at a Society of Wetland Scientists annual conference being held at the convention center in Providence. Today, there was a sign in front of one of the rooms we are using stating that this committee was meeting there. The room was empty, so maybe they don't start until tomorrow. Who should I be looking for?

Which classes to take to stay eligible, and how to structure them so that the academic fraud is at an institutional level, rather than just at an AD level, so your bball coach can save face, daggum it all to heckfire.

I find it interesting that a lot of the noise on the UNC board was that its more on an institutional level than a staff level so it shouldn't be bad for mbb. I find that reasoning to be faulty. The NCAA not only put the main push of the allegations on an institutional level but also names the school of study (AFRI/AFAM) and highlighted three specific sports (fb, mbb, wbb). To me they are saying these 3 sports specifically had an academic system in place that operated outside the rules (cheated) to maintain eligibility for its student athletes. If you think of it in broader terms academically its rather damning for those three sports. That of course doesn't mean any of us have any real idea what the final penalties will be however.
