He did his job perfectly - take all the heat that should have been aimed at the member schools. NCAA HQ in India-noplace can only do what the schools allow/tell it to do, and they allowed/told them to do zero point zip in all this. He didn't change the sit-out transfer rule, the member schools did. For all we know, he could have given the schools the perfect solution on NIL and they rejected it. We'll never know what really happened. His replacement will be taking the same heat that he did. Anyone remember one of his predecessors Gordon Gee?
