An All-American in cross country and indoor track, Hehir's 5,000-meter time was also below the NCAA regional qualifying standards, but he will only be competing in the 10k at this weekend's prelims. Syracuse has the majority of the front-runners in the 10k seedings, with ACC runner-up [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11897'][U]Dan Lennon[/U][/URL] seeded third (28:46.21) and [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11894'][U]Reed Kamyszek[/U][/URL] seeded fourth (28:49.53), fresh off his fifth-place finish at the ACC Championships. Her Stanford Invite time of 32:29.89 is good for the second-best seed time, just under one second behind Tennessee's Chelsea Blaase. No other competitor has a seed time within 37 seconds of the duo. The ACC Champion in the 1500-meters, Knight will be competing in the 5,000-meters – an event he set the school record in at the Payton Jordan Invitational previously this year. Knight is the second qualifier in the event, with a seed time of 13:34.86.
