NCAA unlimited food policy solves some problems, causes others

The fact that the coaches don't understand what is allowed, and admit that each school will interpret the rule differently, is one of the biggest problems with the NCAA.

Glad the P5 is getting autonomy and hopefully this means some clearer legislation, which isn't subject to wide interpretation by each school.

The title should read. "NCAA unlimited food policy solves non-problems..."

I like this line in the article:

"Previously, schools could provide three meals a day or a stipend for athletes. Those who live off campus often received stipends to pay for the food at their discretion, but some athletes have opted to use the funds for other expenses and had difficulty paying for meals."

So, because you spent your food money on tattoos or bling, we have to change NCAA rules?
