Tulane football is broken, as was their basketball program during the death penalty phase.  But this could go a long way in coming back.  There is less school spirit there than the surrounding state schools so any extra effort and cost in order to get to a game just won't happen from the student body while the team flounders in C-USA (aka Big East Farm Team Conference).  I'm sure they will let the students in for free and allow booze to be sold. Is it perfect, no.  But neither is the product and a smaller stadium (i.e. lower bar) in an outdoor setting (the one time of the year the weather in NO is great) withing walking distance of the campus and surrounding wealthy community can only help.

Personally I'd love to see SU continue the series down there.  Great for recruiting, great road trip and I hear there are one or two decent restaurants down there.  The big issue is they have to keep any successful coach in the program.  Too many have left once they achieved any sort of success.
