Just heard an interview on CBS Radio (Tiki & Tearney Show). They are at the Army-Navy Game in Philly. They had Napoleon McCallum on to talk about his career. They asked him where he would have gone to school if not for the Navy?

His answer (paraphrased)
Syracuse was my second choice. They wanted me at running back, while Tennessee wanted me to switch to defensive back, but I was not doing that.

Would have been nice to have another College Football HOF to continue the tradition.

Add him to the list, along with Michael Irvin, Michael Vick, Jalen Rose, Anthony Davis, Marcus Liberty, etc. Any others?

I didn’t know about Mike Irvin.

There’s a good chance that the ‘87 team would have had a share of the title with him on it, esp. if it meant []_[] losing him.

Wasn’t Boomer Esiason a near miss?

Basketball — Kenny Anderson and Marbury both bought out from under us. Hodges. Anthony Davis wasn’t as close as some make it out to be.

Football — Vick is the most impactful recruiting loss in the history of the university. Would have propelled the program into the new century. Colt Brennan and Ray Rice also come to mind.
