There’s no salary cap in college and there’s greater demand than quality in college.NFL teams barely pay kickers, colleges are going to be hard pressed to give significant funds to kicker
if you say so, I don’t foresee a kicker making anything significantThere’s no salary cap in college and there’s greater demand than quality in college.
That surpasses the value of his scholarship? With an NIL deal
some moneybag teams need kickers
Is the kid just another kicker? That surpasses the value of his scholarship?
A lot of schools don't use scholarships on kickers.
Didn't we just lose an athlete to a school offering as a PWO because of NIL? I could see it happening with a kicker. Combine lower state tuition with the craziness that is factory boosters and a guy could make out pretty well. That surpasses the value of his scholarship?

Yeah but he's staying in state to play at Oklahoma. And he's not a kicker.Didn't we just lose an athlete to a school offering as a PWO because of NIL? I could see it happening with a kicker. All the hits those guys don’t have to take/give is another win. He’s great. All TBs yesterday and only one was close. His second kick was through the end zone.
“Here’s your 75 against our D”. Nice way to start every defensive series.
He makes Pat O’Neil look like a JV player.
We can't underestimate the desperation of boosters at factory schools. The kid we lost wasn't a kicker but he also wasn't offered a scholarship, so they're not even confident he'll be a major contributor, yet they threw cash at him. If a factory school really needs a kicker, giving him enough cash to cover out of state tuition plus some wouldn't be all that mind blowing. Keep in mind, we're talking about the kind of people that paid off Nick Saban's house even though he was already making like $8 million a year. I'm not saying it will certainly happen, but it's the wild wild west out there now.Yeah but he's staying in state to play at Oklahoma. And he's not a kicker.
We already give scholarships to kickers and punters. That's why we got Stonehouse.
Somebody trying to steal Denaberg would have to offer something in excess of the worth of his scholarship.
Go's saying that someone throw NIL his way to make that package bigger to overcome. Which, cool, but if you're a heavy hitter program that doesn't use scholarships on kickers you're at a huge deficit to start with.
Who wants to tell her?
