Comment: we think of this team as having no inside game but we are shooting 51.9% inside the arc. That’s the most since the 2012 team averaged that. Since then, it’s been .485, .477, .483, (Rakeem’s senior year), .472, .513, (the Andrew White/John Gillon team), .497 and .478. My theory is that the better your three point shooting is, the better your two point shooting will be because the defense is extended. I do think we have big men who will eventually be strong inside scorers but now it’s all dunks and lay-ups, which are high percentage shots.

Comment: we think of this team as having no inside game but we are shooting 51.9% inside the arc. That’s the most since the 2012 team averaged that. My theory is that the better your three point shooting is, the better your two point shooting will be because the defense is extended.
