I’ll be summarizing the “Net Points, etc.” stats on a monthly basis this year. With two early conference games, there’s no point in keeping track of non-conference vs. Conference games as I’ve done in the law few years. (note: I’m doing this after the Iowa game with was played in December. I am not including the Iowa game status in this post.)

NET POINTS

Here is a breakdown of player’s averages in each stat and overall. M= minutes per game for which they were available. Everything else is per 40 minutes. P= points, R= rebounds, A= assists, S= steals, B= blocks, + = P+R+A+S+B, “the positives”. MFG = missed field goals, MFT – missed free throws, TO = turnovers, PF = personal fouls. - = MFG+MFT+TO+PF, “the negatives”. NP = net points (the positives – the negatives), OE: offensive efficiency (P-MFG-MFT), FG = “floor game” (NP-OE)

(He’s put up strong numbers. He could improve his efficiency but he’s not committing too many fouls to keep him in the game, which is often the problem with freshmen big men. That’s means he’s in the right places. He just doesn’t always do the right things.)
