We rebounded 11 of our 44 misses = 25.0%
They rebounded 13 of their 34 misses = 38.2%

They got 4 points on 13 O-Rebs = 0.308 points/O-reb

Unforced Turnovers
(Total turnovers – the other team’s steals = unforced turnovers)
We had 11 turnovers – 6 steals = 5 unforced
They had 20 turnovers – 8 steals = 12 unforced

Thye were more likely to get calls when attempting two point shots and they got more free throws out of it when we were fouled, (barely).

Comments

- We’re all excited about having our entire starting line-up back form a Sweet 16 team. Howard is still out. Tonight the other four had a combined 15 net points in 112 minutes of play. That’s 5.4NP per 40 minutes. A starter should have at least twice that.

- Jalen Carey led in net points, was the O-Dog, the most efficient shooter and scorer and the taco Bell MVP.

- Tyus Battle played our first 40 minute game. We had 65 of them last year.

- We were a lot better defending against second chance points (4 from 13 offensive rebounds) than first chance points.

- We lost each one of the first three quarters of the game and then didn’t make enough of a comeback in the fourth.
