Fouls (Most fouls are called on two point shot attempts.) We attempted 40 two-point shots and were fouled 26 times = 1.54 They attempted 33 two-point shots and were fouled 6 times = 5.50 Comments: - How long can Maliq brown be kept out of the lineup, averaging 24.4NP/40 compared to a combined 24.5 for Williams and Ajak and 17.8 for Bell, Taylor and Copeland? - We out-scored them in unsettled situations 34-15 and won by 15. - Monmouth’s two point field goal percentage, 54.5% was the highest we’ve given up this season. That’s normally a stat that determines victory if there is a big gap, (we shot 50%). Points in the paint were equal, (36%-36%) against a shorter team. - Which, in turn, led us to be out-scored 36-45 in our initial sets, (first chance points). - If we could go 8 for 15 from three per game (or something similar) on a consistent basis, we will win a lot of games. - Our starters tied Monmouth, 71-71. We have a bench this year. - Our streak of the other team drawing fouls more readily than we do, (9 straight), ended with a thud as the visitors got whistled 26 times to our 6.
