They scored on 61% of their two point shots to 46% for us. They shot 83% from the line to 50%. We were out-scored by 6 points inside and 9 points at the line. When you play zone, you expect those areas to be advantages. State passed the ball very well and got excellent penetration. We did not. - Yes, sometimes the shots go in and sometimes they don’t. The just shots actually went in more for us: we had 31 POP, 16 from the TZ to 25 and 15 for them. It was the penetration of the defense, the fouls shooting and the rebounding that won the game for State. - We won first chance points 33-28, so our offense wasn’t as dysfunctional as it seemed. They were +3 in second chance points, +8 in fast break points and +9 in free throws. - On the other hand, we only scored 0.8 points per possession and the were 1.0 so I guess they were more efficient.
