He missed a shot, turned the ball over and committed two fouls. He also failed to get the most important rebound of the game. - We rebounded a higher percent age of our missed shots than we have all year and had the biggest gap between our percentage the opposition’s percentage of the season. - In the years I’ve kept track of it, two point field goal percent age has been one of the most important predictors of victory in college basketball games and it certainly decided this one. U of Miami made 68% of their two point field goal attempts, a very high percentage but we only made 26%, the lowest I can remember seeing.
