Comments:

- It was the first time we’d out-rebounded an opponent since Virginia Tech.

- We had 16 turnovers and only 6 of them were Florida State steals, meaning 10 were unforced turnovers, the most since we had 11 against St. John’s.

- We were 16 for 34 on twos, (.471), 9 for 24 on threes (.375) and 23 for 30 on frees (.767). Against Wake Forest we were We were 16 for 30 on twos (.533), 9 for 24 on threes (.375) and 22 for 30 on frees (.733). We basically had the same offensive game, two games in a row.

- The fact that we lost Pat’s First Chance Points 29-37 tells you what this game might have been like if we’d let it slow down to a half-court game. We also lost our initial sets to Wake Forest, 28-34.

- They have all that depth but our starters out-scored theirs by 13 points and our bench only got out-scored by 3. They had 8 guys score but we had 7 guys score.

- You always want to take a quick glance at the assist to turnover ratio. Ours wasn’t great at 20-16 but theirs was 14-15, the signature of a losing team.
