New Announcement on Training Camp

The week will culminate with a scrimmage played before the 10th Mountain Division Soldiers and their Families on Saturday, August 18.

Outstanding!

there is so much that these two can do to help one another. hopefully Syracuse U. offers multiple scholarships to military families and soldiers.

Bit of a challenge getting by post security.
Not for everyone.;) Too bad I won't be up there as I could escort a few of our experts into the scrimmage. Anyways this is a great idea. I hope SU is up at the scrimmage selling some reduced rate season tix packages for Ft Drummers. SU really should contact Billy Fuccillo and see about him sponsoring a block of 100 tix for FT Drum soldiers along with a bus/tailgate...If SU would allow the bus into the Fine or Standart Lot...I know they would be taken care of. I'll contact Chris Gedney and see if it is possible to get a bus into the Fine Lot.

BTW, I have a good guess they will be running the players through the Leaders Reaction Course. I have done these in the past and they are really fun. They will be broken up into groups of about 10 guys and given seemingly impossible scenarios with limited equipment. It will build morale and everyone will be given a chance to use his brains, brawn and leadership to accomplish each task. The players will remember this day for the rest of their lives.

That is good in a couple fronts. One, it is a positive for the players but it is also a marketing tool with FD to become fannies in the seats at the Dome.

Might we see something like VT is doing? Would love it...

Hope not. I'm all for giving the troops tickets and all that but those helmets are atrocious.
